Sabine is 16 years old, self-confident and witty. She recently moved in with her father, into a housing complex near Berlin. One day, she witnesses 18-year-old Micha running in a panic while holding a bloody knife. Shortly after she finds a dead body nearby. Fearing Sabine might report him to the police, Micha asks his friend Eddi for help and soon a tender love develops between Sabine and Eddi. Sabine claims not to have recognized Eddi's friend in the fleeing person but for Micha this is not enough.
