Police officer Max Anders is the victim of an intrigue by his colleague Ernst Jannoschek and is wrongfully convicted for eleven months. In prison he has to fight against prejudice and arbitrariness. Eventually, the ex-policeman is asked to help the warden build up a boxing team as part of an anti-aggression program. Anders is not very enthusiastic about the idea at first. However, his opinion changes when he learns that the coach of the opposing team is his devious ex-colleague Jannoschek.
