An unannounced inspection by the supervisory authorities shocks Rike: Friedel Ischinger, who insists on finding safety and hygiene deficiencies everywhere, shuts down the operation until further notice! When stallion Jacomo, who is stabled at her brother Ferdinand's new farm, disappears and Ferdinand's partner Loretta draws suspicion to Rike, she feels that everyone is conspiring against her. Unexpected support from the family comes just in time, the Wildensteins come together in times of need.
Part 4: The Boy and the Horse
In Starnberg, a free-roaming Palomino mare causes a stir: the horse does not allow any contact - not even from horse whisperer Rike. The equestrian farm boss is fascinated by the runaway. The headstrong animal only shows interest in eleven-year-old Joschi, who is expected to stay with his dad Jan for a few weeks. The divorced police officer can hardly do justice to his role as a father and on top he now has to solve the disappearance of the stallion Jacomo. The fact that Rike is hiding something from him puts their love to the test. Meanwhile, Rike's strained relationship with her mother Elsa improves slowly, and Elsa seems to also have overcome years of conflict with her unconventional sister Michi. When Ferdinand learns a family secret, new rifts open up. Now it is also up to his conniving partner Loretta to determine whether he will finally break with his family.
